CUSTOM DENTAL BRIDGES IN WICHITA, KS

WHAT IS A DENTAL BRIDGE?

If you have missing teeth, it is important to replace them in order to continue chewing and speaking with ease. There are several options for replacing missing teeth. One of these is a dental bridge from Wichita Family Dental.

A dental bridge literally bridges the gap between teeth where one or more may be missing. It attaches artificial teeth to the nearby natural teeth. Bridges may be removable or permanently attached. Removable bridges can be taken out and cleaned, but fixed bridges are more stable. A dental bridge from Wichita Family Dental will support your lips and cheeks, helping you maintain your appearance.

CEREC DENTAL BRIDGES AT WICHITA FAMILY DENTAL

Wichita Family Dental uses CEREC technology for the majority of our patient’s dental bridges.

NO IMPRESSIONS

WHAT IS CEREC?

    • Chairside: The technology is used while you are in the chair.

    • Economical: The procedure is economical for the patient.

    • Restorations: The procedure restores your tooth.

    • Esthetic: The crowns are metal-free and tooth-colored.

    • Ceramic: The crowns are made of high-grade ceramic material that is compatible with your natural tissue.

HOW MUCH DOES A DENTAL BRIDGE COST?

Your dental bridge cost will vary based on the type of material used.

WHAT IS A DENTAL BRIDGE MADE OF AT WICHITA FAMILY DENTAL?

Dental bridges can be made from porcelain, gold alloy, non-precious alloy, or a combination of these materials.

WILL MY DENTAL BRIDGE LOOK NATURAL?

Yes! Your Ceramist will use a shade guide to match your crown to the teeth on either side. They will also color and polish your crown to be nearly identical to your other teeth. No one will know they’re not your real teeth.

THE DENTAL BRIDGE PROCESS AT WICHITA FAMILY DENTAL

First, your Wichita Family Dental ceramist will take a digital scan. Your ceramist will also use a shade guide to find the perfect color for your bridge, to make sure it matches your surrounding teeth. Then, your Wichita Family Dental ceramist will design your bridge and send it to one of our milling units. Once the milling is complete, our ceramist will color your restoration to perfectly match your complimentary shade. Your bridge will be coated and glazed for a beautiful, natural sheen.

HOW LONG DO DENTAL BRIDGES LAST?

On average, dental bridges last between five and ten years.
