Dr. Anya Hatfield is a dedicated orthodontist who is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles through personalized, evidence-based care. She believes that every patient deserves a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs, with a focus on long-term stability, function, and natural esthetics.
Dr. Hatfield earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Duke University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She then pursued advanced specialty training in orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine, where her research focused on using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging to better understand jaw structure and tooth positioning.
She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association, and is committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic techniques and technology through continuing education.
After completing her orthodontic training in Las Vegas, Dr. Hatfield is thrilled to return to Wichita, where she’s happily adjusting from neon lights and desert sunsets back to Kansas skies and hometown community. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her young daughter and her fiancé, Eric, who is also an orthodontist. As a family, they enjoy exploring new restaurants, being outdoors, and continually learning values that reflect her belief in balance, growth, and connection both in and out of the practice.
